Dragons

Ive been doing alot of Dragon reaserch (again) lately. One interesting tidbit i found is on the idea of the dragonslayer. The dragon is an ancient energy that is a protector of the earth which got warped into they are greedy and hoard wealth: but where did the precious metals and gems actually come from? The Dragon slayer can be seen as a metaphor for Christianity removing the Pagan people and Ideals from the land as well as a symbol for People’s Dominion over the Earth. Another metaphor becomes apparent when you look at primordial deities who are Both Creator and Destroyer as well as rather chaotic. Slaying the Dragon then becomes a way to control the uncontrolable cycle of life. and force the world into order… Regardless of the Metaphor Dragon Energy has been slowly resurging over the last couple of decades. Honor it, even if you Fear it!

“Here be dragons” (hic sunt dracones in Latin) means dangerous or unexplored territories, in imitation of a medieval practice of putting illustrations of dragons, sea monsters and other mythological creatures on uncharted areas of maps where potential dangers were thought to exist.
